The baking and cooking properties of traditional cast iron are incomparable. The body of this cast iron pot has a glossy enamel coating on the outside and a black matte enamel coating on the inside, which protects the inner surface from rust and improves baking properties. The combination of cast iron and enamel is durable and scratch-resistant. Cast iron pots and pans from the Arki series are universal - suitable for frying on all types of hobs, incl. induction. Baking is also suitable at high temperatures.

We recommend:

  • Using plastic or wooden utensils.
  • Wear protective gloves when handling the container.
  • Always move the pan by lifting it - the bottom of a heavy container can scratch the surface of the stove or table.
  • Heat cast iron pots and pans gradually, especially on an induction hob. Too rapid a temperature change can damage the product.
  • We do not recommend using the booster function of induction hobs with the product.
  • Read the recommended maintenance carefully!

Washing and maintenance:
Washing and maintaining cast iron cookware (pans, pots, frying pans) without a chemical non-stick surface is very simple, but it still takes a few minutes of time. You will be rewarded with an almost unlimited lifespan of your cast iron cookware. At the same time, the more often you use the pan and take good care of it, the better the natural non-stick surface of the cookware, the so-called "seasoning", formed by baked-on cooking oil.

Cast iron cookware is not intended for storing ready-made food, as over time the "seasoning" could deteriorate and the pan could corrode (especially with acidic foods such as tomatoes, beans or wine, vinegar, etc.). Therefore, cast iron cookware should be washed very soon after use, but not immediately when it is still hot. Wait until it has cooled down slowly and wash it in warm running water and dry with a cloth. Use a polycarbonate scraper or dishwashing brush to remove any baked-on residue. You can also use a small amount of detergent if necessary. Under no circumstances should cast iron cookware be "soaked" to remove any dirt.

After each wash, coat the entire cookware with a light layer of cooking oil and wipe dry with a paper towel. Use enough oil to restore the shine of the cookware and not leave a sticky layer. This will preserve the "seasoning" and protect the cookware from moisture. Cast iron cookware does not belong in the dishwasher!
